JTL Plumbing Partner
We are delighted to announce that National Training PRovider JTL will be working alongside Train4All to deliver level 2 and level 3 Plumbing Apprenticeships from September. If you are a learner or employer looking for plumbing training or an apprentice, come along and talk to the JTL team during our Open Week on Wednesday 5th July from 10am - 7pm, we have employers looking for apprentices with immediate starts.

The Big Build - Phase 2
Following our entry onto RoATP last week, we are now excited to be able to announce the start of phase 2 of our big build!! We are doubling the space for our learners, employers and new partner providers to increase workshops, classrooms and conferencing facilities. With over 90 applications already for new starts in 2017/18, we think it is going to be a busy year!!
Following recent funding applications, we are delighted to have been officially accpeted onto the Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP). We are able to continue delivering quality training to local learners and employers and look forward to a busy 2017/18. Thank you to the team for submitting a sucessful bid!
SSSTS courses now available
We are now delighted to be able to offer SSSTS courses at Train4All. If you are currently working as a Supervisor on site or looking to work at Hinkley Point C, this course is something you should consider. Call us for more information or to reserve your place.
Hinkley training gets moving
With the recent announcement that Hinkley Point C has been given the green light, we are receiving an increase in enquiries for training across all trades. Experienced workers are now looking to gain their trade NVQ and CSCS cards, and we have also seen a sudden increase in those requrieing Site Supervision and Management NVQ's. If you would like to gain your trade NVQ's or would like to progress your carerer by achiveing a management qualfiication give us a call.
Tithegrove Ltd - Groundworks and Civil Engineering
We are delighted to be working with Tithegrove Ltd the leading contractor in Groudnworks and Civil Engineering to deliver their apprenticeships in 2016/17. Tithegrove are currently seeking 10 apprentices to join sites across Somerset and Devon with a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in civil engineering including opportunities for progression. Towing a Vehicle?
As part of our continued wraparound service for employers, we now offer Driver Towing training. If this is not listed on a photocard licence and you, your employees or apprentices are towing, you are breaking the law. We can assist you with this , so give us a call for further details.

ELCAS and CTP Approved
Good news, we have retained our CTP preferred supplier status for force resettlement leavers and we have also just been granted ELCAS approval for the brand New Forces L3 Advanced Certificate in Constructing the Built Environment, book you places now for June and July 2016
Brand New C&G L3 Advanced Tech Cert
Train4All are adding a new qualification to our suite of awards! We are delighted to be one of the first in the country to offer the new City & Guilds L3 Advanced Technical Certifcate in Construcing the Built Environment. Skill Build 2015
A team of 5 apprentices went to Skill Build 2015 competition yesterday at South Devon College to represent Train4All in Carpentry, Bricklaying and Plastering. They all did exceptionally well and Keiron who represented us in the Plastering category obtained third place. We are exceptionally proud of all the learners, and a huge congratulations to Keiron on his achievement.
Brand New Centre Opening Sept 2015
We are pleased to announce that Train4All Construction Academy are currently having a brand new centre built. The new centre will be located in Somerton and will include much larger workshops to accommodate the increasing demand from learners and employers. We will continue to operate the free minibus service on a first come first served basis from Chard and also from Street so there will be no additional costs for expensive bus passses. If you would like apply to start an apprenticeship in September, contact us today on 01458 447794 and speak to the Work Based Learning Team and we already have employers looking for their next apprentice.
Property Development - ELCAS
As an approved ELCAS provider we are able to assist learners through Level 3 qualifications. We are now offering Property Development courses as 3 and 5 week blocks so that ELCAS monies can be used whether you qualify for a lower or higher tier rate of funding. OPEN DAY ON SATURDAY 7TH MARCH
Our Open Day is coming up on Staurday 7th March from 10.00 - 13.00 where learners can come and enrol and try out new sklills. Employers are welcome to come along and meet trade specialists and watch demonstrations, purchase discounted tools and supplies. The Work Based Learning team will be on hand to discuss how we can help with apprenticeship and employment training, grants and funding are currently available so now is a great time to invest in training. Free cup of tea and a bacon buttie while stocks last!
NVQ's available for tradesman
We have funding available for experienced workers to gain their NVQ's on site. If you need to gain your trade CSCS card you will need the City & Guilds trade qualification first. In order to gain your first CSCS Blue Skilled card you need to compete a level 2 NVQ, if you want to achieve your CSCS Gold Skilled card you will need to achieve a level 3 NVQ. Give us a call for furhter information and to see whether you qualify for funding.
Get your CSCS card
From July 2014 CSCS has introduce a new requirement for applicants to achieve a formal knowledge based qualification, the ‘Health and Safety in a Construction Environment’ Award. Achievement of this award will demonstrate the applicant’s understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites. The CSCS Green Card is intended for those working in labouring occupations only. If you are looking to work on a construction site, book onto our new Level 1 Award in Health & Safety and sit your CSCS test.
New 3 Week Property Maintenance Course
Due to the increased demand by force leavers, we have now introduced a three week property maintenance course for those receiving lower tier ELC funding. The five week course is available for those who qualify for higher tier ELC funding. Call us or complete a forces enquiry form for more details on how to book.
Minibus moves learners up the ladder
Our new minibus service which transports learners to our Apprenticeship Academy centre is going well, but dont forget that if you are enroling with us for September 2015 to book your seat early as spaces are limited!
Yeovil College Partner with Train4All
Train4All Construction Academy are pleased to formally announce that we are working in partnership with Yeovil College delivering Construction Apprenticeships and full time courses to learners from across the Mendips at our Street Apprenticeship Academy. We look forward to working with Mary Payne and her team and welcome all new learners to the centre.
Chard - Skills and Forces Centre
We are pleased to announce that the Chard centre will now be offering a vast array of short skills courses and be our main Force Resettlement Centre for the South West. If you are looking for short courses in Plastering, Tiling, Bricklaying or Carpentry, we have a short course that can meet your needs. We also offer a 5 week property maintenance programme for those that want to learn a bit of everything.
