This 1-day course is designed to ensure that operatives are competent in working at height whilst working at Hinkley Point. At the end of the course learners will be able to safely work at height and identify and assess associated risks.
Course Content
- Understand the principles of working at height and legislation
- Explain working at height practices
- Demonstrate work area and equipment preparation techniques to work safely at height
- Demonstrate safe work at height practices
- Complete work at height activities safely and reinstate the work area
Who is this course for?
All personnel who work at height or associated with working at height at Hinkley Point.
Assessment Method
Practical assessment and theoretical examination.
Progression
Learners can progress onto other short skills courses required for working at Hinkley Point.
Course Requirements*
Learners must provide their own safety footwear to wear within the workshop.
