Train4All Limited was set up in February 2008 by Rachel and Jon Allen, to provide quality construction training for learners within the local area of South Somerset that found it unviable to travel to local colleges or did not want to be taught in a large FE setting.
- 2008 - First centre was opened in Chard offering Brick, Carpentry and Tiling Apprenticeships and programmes for disadvantaged learners aged 14-16.
- 2010 - The Chard centre was expanded in order to accommodate additional learners from the local community and a second centre was opened in Glastonbury to assist local learners in the Mendip area who could not afford to travel to larger colleges in the region.
- 2011 - Due to an increased demand for quality construction training in the Mendip region, Train4All relocated from Glastonbury and opened a larger centre just 10 minutes away in Street to accommodate 100 additional learners from across the area.
- 2016 - The team made the decision to close both Street and Chard centres to open a brand-new state of the art academy in Somerton. The new academy has 4 workshops, and can accommodate many more learners, support even more employers and re-train those leaving the Armed Forces.
- 2021 - The Welding and Engineering workshop opens in Somerton and Welding apprenticeships are introduced. Two onsite live Vistry Partnership Skills Academies are opened in Exeter and Plymouth.
- 2022 - Additional onsite live Vistry Partnership Skills Academy opens in Redruth.
- 2023 - Additional Welding and Metal Fabrication workshop is opened to accommodate growing number of engineering learners
