Careers Advice

Train4All are proud to deliver outstanding information, advice and/or guidance (IAG) to our learners and employers.

As part of our commitment to providing good advice and guidance, the team at Train4All want to ensure that the career path you are choosing is right for you.

How can we help?

  1. Our team will initially call to talk through the courses available and discuss your initial thoughts, ideas and potential career choice.
  2. If you are looking to do an apprenticeship or scholarship, you will be invited into the centre to meet with our Chief Operating Officer to discuss options available in more depth.
  3. During your visit you will have a tour of the centre and workshops and meet with the teaching team.
  4. You may be invited to attend a taster session to see whether Contruction or Engineering is for you before you enrol with us.
  5. Depending on the programme to be followed, we may complete an initial assessment in maths, English and your practical skills.

What happens next?

  1. Once you are enrolled, we will send joining instructions containing all the information you need for your first day.
  2. If you are following an apprenticeship or scholarship, we will develop an individual learning plan, which will map out how you are going to progress through your qualification.
  3. We will regularly review and monitor your progress with your trainers and employer to ensure that you are on target to achieve.
  4. We will support your individual learning requirements throughout your programme and do whatever we can to see you succeed.

You've achieved, what now?

  1. Once you have achieved your programme or qualification, we review your course with you.
  2. We will look at progression routes available depending upon your career aspirations and discuss employment options too.

Whatever pathway you choose, we will provide you with the right skills and knowledge to enable you to operate confidently, effectively and independently in both life and work. Our aim is to support you fully during your time at the academy so that your personal and employability skills develop, and you maximise your opportunities for the future.
