The CCNSG Safety Passport is the nationally recognised safety card for the UK engineering construction industry. This classroom-based 2-day course provides workers with enhanced health and safety awareness and knowledge through quality-assured training. It is imperative that everyone working on site is correctly trained, this is a mandatory requirement at places such as Hinkley Point C and other infrastructure projects.
Course Content
- Health and safety legislation, regulations and safe working practices and procedures.
- Safe use of tools and equipment in different working environments.
- Safe working practices and safe solutions to problems and emergencies.
- Personal site safety responsibilities.
Who is this course for?
This 2-day ECITB course is for anyone working within construction or engineering. This nationally-recognised course helps to reduce accidents and lost time incidents on sites.
Assessment Method
This course is assessed by 4 individual ECITB examinations. On completion, successful candidates receive a CCNSG Safety Passport, which is valid for three years. Cards must be renewed through the CCNSG Renewal Course before the card expiry date.

Learners can progress onto further ECITB Health & Safety Training Courses relevant to the work being carried out.
