This half day course is designed to ensure that learners are provided with relevant knowledge with regards to Manual Handling and the different lifting aids that can be used whilst working at Hinkley Point C and other infrastructure projects.
At the end of the course delegates will be able to identify manual handling risks and be able establish safe methods of handling without risk of injury.

- Recognise the hazards and risks associated with manual handling
- Use safe lifting and carrying techniques
- Risk assessment (how to do it)
- Use of handling equipment

Practical assessment and theoretical examination.

Course Requirements*
