This Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment, or more commonly known as PAT Testing, is a 2-day course designed for those with electrical experience who are wishing to further their skills and knowledge, those who have just completed the 18th Edition may also attend.
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition. Portable Appliance Testing is one way in which to ensure electrical equipment is safe. This practical course covers all that is required for the 2377 City and Guilds qualifications, the latest and most up to date qualification available from City & Guilds in PAT Testing.

Assessment Method
At the end of the PAT testing course there will be a multiple-choice question paper to test your knowledge of the topic.
