We are delighted to be hosting another of our popular Trade Days for our Armed Forces learners and local employers on 21st June from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm in Somerton, just ahead of the national Armed Forces Day on Saturday 24th June.
During the day there will be lots of opportunity to discuss training available and for employers to register their interest in recruiting ex-forces and apprentices.
- Trade demonstrations provided by British Gypsum
- Taster sessions in the workshops - Brick, Carpentry, Plastering, Welding
- Guest speakers including former Armed Forces learners
- Discounted hand and power tools from national suppliers
- Advice and Guidance on all training and employment opportunities available
- SSAFA and Wessex RFCA attending to offer support and guidance
Free refreshments will be available throughout the day with donations welcome to support SSAFA, a charity close to our hearts who do valuable work with vulnerable members of the Armed Forces community.
